Aspiring professional photographer height
Our take
Hello everyone! I've always dreamed of pursuing professional photography, focusing on capturing life's special moments—couples, graduations, weddings, and celebrations. However, I have a concern about my height, as I stand just under 5 feet. I'm worried that being shorter than most of my subjects might affect the photos, making the height difference too noticeable. I’m not sure carrying a stool for every pose is practical. I would love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have on this! Thank you in advance!
Hi all!
It’s been in my heart to pursue a long time dream of doing professional photography. Couples, graduation, celebrations, weddings, those types of things. Something that’s crossed my mind, is my height. Would being right under 5ft be okay to capture people’s special moments? I know I’ll likely be shorter than a majority of the people, and I worry about the height difference being obvious in the photos. I don’t think it would be viable for me to carry a stool with me every pose.
TIA!
