day for night help

Our take

As a student photographer working on your spring final, capturing the haunting essence of your model covered in blood while evoking the surreal atmosphere of "I Am Not Okay With This" is a thrilling challenge. Given your limited timeframe and your model’s availability, shooting around 4 PM is feasible. By utilizing your ND filter and off-camera strobes, you can create dramatic contrasts and shadows, mimicking a nighttime effect. Embrace this opportunity to experiment with lighting techniques, and let your creativity shine through your final image.

I’m a student photographer, and working on my spring final. i’m doing a shoot based on the tv show “i am not okay with this” and my final image is supposed to be my model, covered in blood, wandering down a street looking stunned

What im running into is that my model has been largely unavailable during the night time, and i’m left with less than a week to shoot this. would it be possible to get a similar effect to the reference photo during the daytime ? (around 4pm)

I have an ND filter and on + off camera strobes (my own godox v1 and godox ad200, the school can give me ad400s if i stay on their property)

would this be possible or should i pivot for my final image?
