Do you struggle with impostor syndrome as a photographer?

Our take

Do you find yourself grappling with impostor syndrome as a photographer? You're not alone. As I embark on a project exploring this pervasive self-doubt, I'm seeking anonymous submissions that capture the critical voice in your head. What does that inner critic say to you? For me, it often whispers, “That person is more creative than you,” or “Why would anyone pay attention to your work?” Share your experiences, and together we can shine a light on this common struggle within our creative community.

I am a photographer in the planning phase for a project that deals with impostor syndrome, and the voice in your head that tells you you’re not good enough.

I’m collecting submissions (that will be used totally anonymously) of what the critical voice in your head tells you. For me, sometimes it sounds like “that person is more creative than you”, “why would anyone pay attention to your work”, etc.

What does the mean voice in your head tell YOU?
