Evoto Feels Needlessly Confusing

Our take

Navigating the Evoto platform can feel unnecessarily complex, especially when it comes to exporting edited images. After signing up for a yearly account, users may find themselves bewildered by the requirement of credits for exporting retouched photos, despite initial expectations of seamless access. This lack of clarity can lead to frustration, as adjustments often go unrecognized during the export process. While the AI retouching may deliver satisfactory results, the cumbersome experience raises questions about the platform's professionalism.

So I just signed up to Evoto and spent the last 2 hours trying to work out how to export. It keeps exporting without any of the adjustments. I’m vaguely realizing you need some kind of credits to actually export retouched images, even though I signed up for a yearly account with points or credits or whatever they call it.

Honestly the whole thing feels incredibly opaque and confusing. At no point does it clearly tell you what’s happening or why your edits aren’t exporting. Feels like they’re trying to extract money at every step.

Do people actually use this professionally? At this point I’d say avoid. I’ve resisted Photoshop for years but this experience is pushing me back. The AI retouhcing looks fine, but if i can not export there is not point.. Thoughts and suggestions welcomed..
