How do you cull?

Our take

Culling can feel like a daunting task, especially after returning from a shoot with thousands of images of birds, cherished moments with family, or spontaneous captures at a wedding. The process of sifting through these shots often feels soul-destroying, yet it is essential for curating a refined collection. Do you turn to Lightroom for this task, and does it enhance your experience? Additionally, do you hold onto the images you ultimately decide to cull, or do you let them go?

You come back from a shoot with 2000 shots of birds, or your kids, or randos at somebody's wedding. Culling them is soul-destroying. How do you do it?

Do you use Lightroom? Do you enjoy it? Do you keep the ones you "cull" or trash 'em?
