Ideas for displaying my work

Our take

As an artist dedicated to showcasing photography in its purest form, I seek innovative ways to display my work without the confines of traditional framing. My experience with pins and mounting squares has led to damage, and I find foam core unappealing. I aim to hang my prints directly on the wall, maintaining their integrity while avoiding further wear and tear. If you have suggestions or creative alternatives for displaying photographs that preserve their quality and aesthetic, I would greatly appreciate your insights. Thank you!

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone might have some advice for hanging/displaying my work in a gallery. I'm an artist and my main medium is photography. I intentionally like to hang my photos straight on the wall, without a frame. I've used pins and picture hanging/mounting squares, both which ended up ruining the prints. A few of the holes from pins got torn all the way through, and the picture hanging adhesive I used was too strong and the paper tore when taking the images off the wall after the show. I think foam core looks tacky. I'm pretty stubborn on not wanting frames but I don't want to have my work keep getting ruined. What other options are out there? Any ideas appreciated!
