Telephoto lens in Rome
Our take
Hello everyone! I'm excited to share that I'll be visiting Rome in the first week of May, camera in hand. Alongside my versatile 18-150mm and wide-angle 10-18mm lenses, I'm considering packing my 200-800mm telephoto lens. While it might seem unconventional for street photography, I believe it could offer unique perspectives on the city's stunning architecture and monuments. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this approach. Additionally, do you know any photographers who creatively use telephoto lenses in urban settings?
Hello everyone !
I'm planning to visit Rome during the first week of May, and I'm bringing my camera with me. Of course, I will take my 18-150mm and my 10-18mm lenses but... I would like to bring my 200-800mm lens.
Yes, I know that may sound crazy to bring a telephoto lens for shooting streets, buildings, monuments and ruins, but that would allow me to possibly take photos from an unusual and interesting perspective, don't you think ?
What do you think about this ?
Also, do you know any photographers that use telephoto lenses for shooting streets and buildings while being inside the city ? I'm not against more inspiration and tips :)
