Wich Software are you using?
Our take
Dear Community, As a passionate photographer with over 15 years of experience, I have relied on Lightroom for importing, adjusting, and managing my images. However, I'm not fond of the subscription model and am exploring alternative software options. While I'm aware of choices like Darktable and RawTherapee, my primary concern is finding a solution that allows me to import my Lightroom catalog without compromising the integrity of my edits. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for software that can deliver a similar rendering quality.
Dear Community,
I'm into photography since more than 15 years and always used Lightroom to import, adjust, and manage my photos.
Somehow I dislike the abo model and am looking for alternatives. Yes, I know there is Darktable, RawTherapie etc, but I need something to import my LR catalogue in a way that the images look more or less the sams (xmp defines e.g. shadow increase - but then the new software should also render it execatly as in LR).
Any suggestions?
