Working while Injured
Our take
Injuries can pose significant challenges, especially when professional commitments loom. After rolling your ankle and discovering a torn ligament and chipped bone, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed, particularly with upcoming weddings and sessions on your calendar. Many creatives face similar hurdles, navigating their work while managing injuries. This thread invites you to share your experiences and strategies for continuing to work during recovery. Whether it’s adapting your approach or seeking support, your insights could inspire and guide others in similar situations.
Has anybody continued to work with a lower leg injury and how?? I rolled my ankle a week ago and just found out I ended up tearing a ligament and chipped a bone. I won’t be able to walk for at least a month and have 2 weddings and a few others sessions planned. I’m in full on panic mode as I search for help to cover some of these events. I’ll do whatever I need to do but don’t wanna let anyone down if I can’t provide the best possible service. Anybody continue to shoot while facing an injury??? I’m open to alllllll the suggestions. Thanks!!!
