What is your favorite dress that you can wear anywhere?

I want to find a couple dresses for the spring/summer that I can wear casually. Like to the store or to pick up the kids, but Im feeling very uninspired and the outfits I come up with look very outdated.

What does your favorite everyday dress look like? And what do you pair it with (sweater, shoes, etc)?
