Please assist accessing old password-protected excel file …
… my partner has locked an excel spreadsheet from 2019 with data from her phD. The entire file is password-protected (not just one sheet). She needs to examine the raw data to amend a publication, and of course she is now unable to remember the password. Are there any techniques to bypass the password? We have tried looking for exports from that sheet, looking for unencrypted copies, using passwords the she used in that era, and zipping the file then viewing it with a zipped-file viewer. Any help of suggestions would be appreciated.
