What do you look for when sesrching for a MUA?

Hey all! Hopefully I've come to the right place. I am a freelance MUA, very green. I'm trying to build my portfolio with TFP but even with that, the competition is so fierce. I'm often passed up or forgotten about, and I'm trying to see what photographers look for when selecting a MUA. I'm trying to market myself more intentionally. Thank you in advance!
