Smooth Lines not Smooth
Hi all
I'm having issues smoothing out a Scatter Graph with Smooth Lines and Markers, see below. The output is wobbly!
I can see why it is wobbly - where the data repeats itself, the line continues flat, until it gets to a new value, and then jumps up. I've tried removing the duplicated values and connected the lines using "Connect data points with line" function in the Hidden and Empty Cells Settings, but a similar sort of output is given.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can smooth the lines out? I have also tried using a Moving Average Trendline too but this didn't work too.
I wonder whether I need to create a smooth line by using different numbers, but I wouldn't know how to produce new numbers that fit the line of the curve!
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
