Nepal in August

I have some free time this August, and I’ve been dreaming of visiting Nepal, especially Pokhara, and finally doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. I’d love to experience the mountains, the landscapes, and those breathtaking Himalayan views.

However, I recently realized that August falls right in the middle of the monsoon season, so now I’m a little unsure.

Would it still be a good time to go?

What are the skies usually like during that period?

Will the mountains still be visible, and is the trek to Annapurna Base Camp still enjoyable and manageable in the rain?

I’d really love to know whether the experience would still be worth it, especially for the views and the overall trekking journey.
