Update: trade product for photography post blew up a bit
Update! I posted thinking I might get a bit of feedback, not immediately jump to the top of r/photography
Oiringal post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/photography/s/0eIaXIMeum
Really appreciate all the input, super helpful.
A bunch of people asked what this would actually look like, so here’s what I had in mind:
I run a small spirits brand and would send a 6-pack case of 750ml bottles (around $360 retail value). In return, I’d be looking for about 3 solid, marketing-ready photos per product (so ~18 images total).
I'm thinking high-res JPEGs that are easy to use across website and social (no heavy cropping or weird formats needed on my end, I do not excel in this department).
Totally open on style. If you’ve got a look or way you shoot products, lean into that. I’d rather have something that feels like your work than something overly rigid.
Main thing is I’d need full usage rights for commercial use (website, ads, social, etc), no time limits.
Timeline wise, ideally photos delivered within ~3 weeks of you receiving the bottles.
If that sounds interesting, feel free to DM me. I'll need to look at a little work and verify 21+.
Also curious from the photographers here, anything else you’d want clarified upfront to make something like this feel fair?
