Shorts?

Okay I feel like my posts never get any attention but I’m at a loss and I need real advice here so please help a girl out if you have any ideas😭🙏 what shorts do y’all wear in the summer? I like the idea of jean shorts but I somehow feel like I never make them work and they look really weird on me for some reason. But basically any shorts that aren’t denim look too relaxed and don’t feel like it would work for a real “outfit” if that makes sense. I usually just end up wearing biker shorts all summer because they’re so easy to style, but it just feels boring and like it doesn’t fit the vibes of my actual style. I have the same problem with pants, but I actually like wearing full length jeans so it isn’t really an issue. I really like when my outfits look casual and effortlessly cool, but I still want them to look like real outfits and not just like “at home” comfy clothes. But also I really love shorts and I don’t wanna spend the whole summer in pants💔

Sorry this was so long winded lol. I’m also not sure if this type of question should’ve been posted in the daily questions thread or not, I’m new here and I just really wanted this post to get more attention so I’d maybe get actual answers lol.
