Upcycled my grandmotherās vintage tablecloth, thrifted embroidery and old jeans shorts into these denim bags.

| Recently I found an old tablecloth from my grandmother. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away even though it was stained and torn in places. I managed to save the best embroidery pieces and combined them with thrifted denim shorts and gingham cotton fabric and turned them into bags. This is exactly why I started with upcycling more seriously in my shop, I'm obsessed with giving old fabrics a second life! The bag on the left is the family heirloom piece and the one on the right is made from a second hand embroidery find which matched with the denim perfectly. I just joined this community and I am so excited to see so many people saving and making new things from old fabrics. š„° [link] [comments] |
