What a terrible start to my day

My babies are gone. An hour before this happened I had went outside to give food to my chickens and both of my babies were completely fine. I’m assuming they went to grab water in the pool and fell in and couldn’t get out. This was the first time this happened and it’s my fault. I had put a slab of wood in front of the pool for my ducks to be able to get in more easily And I had seen the chickens stand on the slab of wood to get water but they were all able to stand in the water except for these guys because they were so little. I guess I never thought they would drown. I’m gonna miss them a lot. Not to mention a day before this one of my favorite chickens got lost and I’m not sure if she’s gone broody somewhere or if she’s just gone forever. I’m going to miss my babies. RIP Pelis and 7 🕊️
