Bermuda vs Turks and Caicos?

I have a trip booked to Bermuda in June however I had a question regarding the difference between these two islands.

Why are there no poor people on Bermuda but Turks and Caicos has lots of poor folks?

They’re both British Colonies and both have same laws rules and regulations.

I was looking at Turks and Caicos on Google maps and there really doesn’t look like there is a “nice area” of the island where there is a town square kind of place like they have in Hamilton Bermuda.

Thoughts?

Which island do you prefer?

I will be in Bermuda for 4 days and I booked the cheapest flight hotel and transportation I could find and the trip is still coming out to $3,600 so far (not including meals). I’m quickly realizing just how expensive this is and is going to be lol. For 4 days!!!
