A Curated Portrait of Girlhood: 400 Stories, One Object at a Time

Six years. Four hundred girls. One object each. Photographer [Name] traveled across the United States, asking each young woman to bring a single item of personal meaning, a worn keepsake, a favorite book, a piece of jewelry, then captured their portrait on film. The result is a deeply intimate, quietly radical archive of American girlhood. No stylists, no props, just the truth of what matters.
