Escura's InstantSnap.novo: A Fresh Take on Instant Print Fun
Back in March, Escura charmed us with a $50 InstantSnap toy camera that looked just like its own printout. Now, the brand is back with the InstantSnap.novo, a fresh take on instant print fun. It's a playful, artistic response to a market that just saw Godox fumble the concept with the widely panned C100. We love seeing a brand lean into whimsy without losing that curated, elevated edge. Retro Rewind: This Tiny Cassette Camera is Surprisingly Delightful.
A 24-gram camera shaped like a cassette tape sounds like a punchline, yet the DV42 on Makuake is genuinely endearing. It leans into playful nostalgia without taking itself too seriously, proving that photography can be whimsical and wearable. The tiny build invites you to carry it everywhere, capturing moments with a wink rather than a technical lecture. For those who love artistry in unexpected places, this quirky gadget feels like a breath of fresh air.
