GoPro's Future: Founder Assures Camera Innovation Continues.
Nick Woodman's open letter this morning felt like a quiet reassurance in an era of loud speculation. GoPro, now joining Starman Optical, isn't stepping away from its cameras, the founder insists the innovation continues. That clarity matters. For those of us who love where art meets motion, it's a relief to hear the brand's soul remains intact. If you're curious about capturing beauty in other forms, our piece on *Capturing Cosmic Beauty: An Astrophotography Journey with Nikon* offers a complementary perspective.
A Legacy in Light: Remembering Jean-François Leroy, Visa’s Founder
Jean-François Leroy saw light before most of us learned to look. The photographer who founded Visa pour l'Image, the world's leading photojournalism festival in Perpignan, has died, leaving a legacy that feels less like an event and more like a quiet shift in how we witness the world. His vision gave urgency and grace to the craft, a rare gift. For those drawn to the artistry behind the lens, our piece on the 5 Boro Foto Fest offers another celebration of that same enduring spirit.
Reimagine Capture: Insta360's Unconventional Mirrorless Camera Arrives.
January's tease was pure Insta360: a founder with the audacity to promise a mirrorless camera shaped like nothing we've seen. Now, that promise feels tangible. We're watching a brand that thrives on the unconventional, and this project could redefine what we expect from a camera's ergonomics and soul. It's a bold, artistic gamble, and we're here for the curiosity it sparks. For more on how the industry's boundaries are bending, our piece on the Viltrox lawsuit offers a fascinating parallel.
