An $80 savings through a smart storage switch for creators
Sometimes the smartest upgrade is the one that saves you money. Insta360's new Mic drops the onboard SSD of its Pro sibling in favor of removable microSD storage, trimming the price by a refreshing $80. For creators who value flexibility without the premium, this is a practical, curated choice. It proves that thoughtful design doesn't always mean more, sometimes it means smarter.
Capture Every Detail: DJI Mic Mini 2S Adds Internal Recording
The DJI Mic Mini 2S arrives with a quiet but meaningful upgrade: each transmitter now captures 32-bit float audio internally. That means creators can record with confidence, knowing the audio retains detail even when levels swing unexpectedly. It is a thoughtful refinement for those who value precision without the bulk. The Wireless Microphones Arms Race: What's New for Creators
The Rode Wireless Pro held a clear edge when it launched, being the first to pack 32-bit internal recording back in 2023. Now, the competition is catching up fast, and the category feels like a genuine arms race. Everyone is chasing the same formula: compact builds, long battery life, and all-in-one noise cancellation. It is an exciting time for creators who value a curated kit. For more on how compact gear is trending, check out our piece on Yashica's new keychain cameras. [Read More]
