Future-Ready Memory: Wise's New Cards Embrace Cinema's Evolution
The MK-IV series arrives with dual VPG certification, a quiet but telling signal that Wise is preparing for the next wave of cinema technology. It's a smart, forward-thinking move from a brand that understands the demands of modern filmmaking. These cards feel built for the long haul, not just the current generation of cameras. For those of you tracking how the visual landscape is shifting, our piece on the iPhone 18 Pro's subtle camera changes offers a nice counterpoint.
Codex Expands Ecosystem: Introducing CFexpress Cards for Cinema Workflows
Codex has long been the quiet backbone of Arri cinema workflows, and now it's stepping into the CFexpress arena with a curated set of Type A and Type B cards, plus readers built for the set. That's not just a product drop; it's a signal that reliability is moving beyond custom media bays. For crews chasing speed without sacrificing trust, this feels like a natural evolution.
Capturing the Wild: Why This Photographer Swears by Novachips Memory Cards
Wildlife photography turns on split seconds, and Amish Chhagan knows the gear that keeps those moments alive. Cameras and lenses get the glory, but the memory card is the quiet workhorse. His choice of Novachips' CFexpress 4.0 Type B cards speaks to a simple truth: reliability is non-negotiable in the field. It is a grounded, practical decision for an artist chasing authenticity. For those drawn to the craft's technical soul, our piece on ultra-low ISO film offers another rabbit hole worth exploring.
