Fifty States, One Frame: VSCO's Final Photographers Take the Stage
Fifty states, one frame. VSCO has unveiled the second half of *The Fifty*, a nationwide billboard exhibition that places one photographer from every state in the spotlight. It's a beautifully democratic gesture, elevating local visionaries to massive public canvases in their own hometowns. This isn't about algorithms or followers; it's about raw, authentic perspectives. For those craving more gear talk, Wandrd's latest strap system redefines the art of effortless attachment, offering a tactile complement to this celebration of pure image-making.
Elevate Your Portraits: Exploring the Art of Medium Format Photography
Medium format photography doesn't just add resolution; it rewires how you see a portrait. Stepping up from smaller sensors, you're suddenly negotiating a larger canvas that demands deliberate composition and a slower, more thoughtful rhythm with your subject. That shift is both humbling and liberating. We think it's the push every serious portraitist craves. For more visual storytelling inspiration, our piece on finding joy in street photography, frame after fashion, pairs nicely with this deeper technical dive.
A Cinematic Voyage: Experiencing The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX.
There is something profoundly romantic about the pursuit of a perfect image, whether captured on film or projected across a towering screen. Christopher Nolan's *The Odyssey* will only unfurl in 70mm IMAX at 41 theaters worldwide, an invitation that feels both exclusive and intentional. This scarcity transforms the viewing into a pilgrimage, not a casual outing. For those who appreciate the tactile beauty of analog formats, the journey itself becomes part of the art.
